Yes that's the guide most people (including myself) have followed and it's spot on :afro:

think ive got my head round it all now, how long did it take you to do?

spent a good couple of hours on it, mainly getting the elbow out of the oil filter housing as there's not much room down there

Mine was a bit easier being an AGU though

if your taking inlet mani off best to get a new gasket,and take your time as not to drop the screws from mani

Best tool for that is a telescopic magnet, £1 at poundland, make getting dropped things out the engine so easy and aligning bolts etc in places where your hands prove fiddly.

I used that guide for a AUQ and think the only difference is that two outlets on the inlet manifold need blocking off - might be included in the guide but seem to remember finding out about the inlet on another guide found on a seat site.

Would recommend renewing the elbow pipe that goes on the oil filter as well, I found it was well worn out and not securing properly.
