O2 sensor...
« on: 24 January 2012, 18:29 »
Hi all,

I have a slight issue with my car.... Ive plugged a code reader in and im getting o2 sensor failure which is fine i can replace this. My question is would this cause my car to run lumpy on idle and sometimes when stopping can idle at low rpm?

Cheers

well i have a P0141 coming up on scanner? to do with the sensor after the cat? I think tbh the throttle body and air filter need changing/cleaning. I presume the throttle runs on a cable so could it be it needs tweaking to idle higher? seems to dip to about 400-500 rpm and sit there sometimes. It usually shoots down when i dip the clutch coming to a junction. Also thermostat needs changing so whether the colder reading could be confusing the ecu i dunno?  :undecided: cheers
