« on: 24 January 2012, 13:13 »
Minor issue....about to order brakes and its given me 2 options for both rear and front....I have never changed them and dont know if I should go for 288 or 312? What came with the car orginally? I cannot afford to start changing things...

And a rough quote to change pads and discs for 1.9 52 reg 130?

Plus what brand? am on eurocarparts and got loads? eicher?

so you're buying new pads and disc? a 130 will have 288 as standard

you need to order carriers to run 312

Another fail on my behalf LOL!

So far I have added up 164 though is that too much or too little? On ebay u can get a grooved/drilled set with pads for 140 etc?

I would avoid drilled and grooved discs, they tend to crack.
