just went shopping came home and parked car up. i thought after the drive i would check the heat of the hoses in diferant locations.
found the 2 hoses that run into the cab for the heater matrix. the in and out hose both seem hot ish. not to hot i cnt keep my hand on them though. the hoses to the rad seem pretty hot though. so if the hose after the thermostat is hot but the ones going into the cab are warm what does that mean?
my thermopstat seems to be working ok as the temp always sticks at 90 on the temp gauge.

how easy is it to get to and change the matrix?

also is the matrix a main part in the circulation or is it like a side bit thast comes off the circulation if you no what i mean.
if the heater matrix was blocked would it effect the circulation of coolant? or is the coolant system its own circulation and the matrix just comes off of that?

Ok this is. Complete mystery to me now. Just took car for long drive. Temp gauge at 90 so all up to temp on tickover. Felt all hoses and all are nice and hot. Hose going into heater matrix piping hot and hose coming out of heater matrix piping hot. Inside the cab when I put it on cold it blows with power. Switch it to hot and still blows fine but a slight diferance in power telling me the dial is working. The air get a tiny but warmer that cold but still not even warm.
Wtf is going on? Don't make sence.
