2002 V6 Auto

Its a T4 
Had the van about 2 weeks now and its been drinking fuel for fun, about 9mpg!!!!
Put it on Vag-com and got this lot up
4 Faults Found:

16825 - EVAP Emission Control Sys: Incorrect Flow

        P0441 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

17704 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs

        P1296 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent

16497 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs

        P0113 - 35-10 - Please Register/Activate - Intermittent

16486 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too Low

        P0102 - 35-00 - -
Had a clean down of the engine, a few of the breathers were clogged with oil and the mass airflow sensor had a load of sh!t in it, put it all back together, cleared the codes and went for a drive, put it back on vag-com and got this

1 Fault Found:

17559 - Long Term Fuel Trim Additive Air Bank 1: Range 1: System too Lean

        P1151 - 35-00 - -

Any ideas people??
Any help much appreciated.

Also, the auto gearbox seems to skip between 2rd and 3rd alot, gives a bit of a kangaroo effect and it sticks in gear a little longer than I think it should.
Any help on this also much appreciated.

The MAF looks a good place to start, if wiring is ok, probably worth trying a new sensor.
As for the auto box, when was it last serviced? change the oil and filter for starters.

Get a proper Vag com too with a newer motor. Let me know if you need one.

Think air temp is part of MAF, so best to start there

Cheers guys, gonna order the bits for the gearbox service, the vans got full service history but since the auto boxes have lifetime oil in them  I doubt its been done.
All the codes have cleared and stayed off aside from the last one, 17559
According to Ross-Tech, could pretty much be owt ha ha

Possible Causes
Intake System faulty/leaking
Fuel Pressure, Fuel Pressure Regulator and Fuel Pump faulty
Fuel Injectors faulty/leaking
Exhaust System faulty/leaking
Activated-Charcoal Filter/System faulty/leaking
Secondary Air Injection System faulty/leaking
Lambda/Oxygen Sensor(s) before Catalytic Converter faulty
Lambda/Oxygen Sensor(s) after Catalytic Converter faulty

The Readiness option on Vag-com comes up with a lot of sh!t to thats im a little concerned about

Just means ecu thinks engines running lean so is dumping in fuel to compensate. You need to find the reason. Possibly a new MAF, but you can test Coolant sensor if you have a meter.

evap emissions can be ignored for the moment.
2ndry air injectoin that can also be ignored ( if it even has it )

it's hinting quite heavly that the lambda has gone down.

also faulty maf will kill economy so you want to change that as well.

MAF's and lambdas can almost be regarded as service items often due at around cambelt time on a lot o engines 60-80k miles and there about all done

as for the auto box they someimes like a fluid change that often makes them play ball again

^^ Lambdas age. I think i remember reading that they should be changed around 40K.
