People who shop at Aldi for some reason feel superior to those who shop at Lidl.

Even though they are in all but name, exactly the same.*

* An Analogy before you Golf owners start complaining.  If I have to explain, you're clearly a moron.

I work for Aldi lol!
Lidl are the enemy!

Me too. However I couldn't care less about Lidl.

Why do you call them Aldis?

Cheap, shiny Volkswagen wannabes.

'it's just like a Golf'

No, no it's not.

Thing is, they really are just like golfs...

we have mk6 golf GTD and a Audi A3 here, both a year old.. when your sat inside, its very hard to tell which one your in, same switch gear, same materials, same displays.. same engines.. everything is same but id say the paint is better on the audis

Then you have the Seats and skodas  (these are the VW & Audi Wannabe's IMO)

Quite like the Audi on the mag cover, sh!te colour but like the car

Tbf Carl has owned one of the most iconic mk3s of all time and has reworked this many times. Audis are part of the wider VAG family and  like it or loath it magazines need to expand and change due to the times or die like max power

Not my cuppa, he does look like a twit especially with his middle finger up and I don't get the hate just because an Audi is on the front cover, maybe if the twit wasn't sitting in it with his finger up it'd have less hate? :undecided: At the end of the day it's a 'posh' VW, with a different front end and badge on the steering wheel - who cares if it's on the front cover?! It it were a French, Jap or other non-VAG car I'd understand!

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

It mentioned about featuring audi couple of months back. They said that the vw/vag scene has came a long way since when it first started. And that it is more of a vag mag now.

Who gives a sh!t. They only put nice cars in there for us to look at.
