Evening all,
Bit of advice if you would be so kind?
I've just had a good luck at my tyres (obviously had far too much time on my hands..) and have noticed that both offside (drivers side) tyres are getting very low, the front is worse than the rear. The car is a GTI and has Monza 18's on it. The nearside tyres are fine however, I've only owned the car a couple of months and it's done 64k.
Now, I have no problems paying for two new tyres as I new this was coming when I bought the car but but ideally I don't want to buy two tyres just for one side as I don't think it's very wise in terms of handling etc but am I just talking rubbish? Is it perfectly ok to buy new tyres just for the front and read on one side? I will try and get the same Dunlop Sport as are already on there.
Could I please have your thoughts?
many thanks
