Getting rid of a couple of bikes if anyone on here is interested, obviously i'm sure we can sort a price for members on here
SE larger single speed with woodgrain paint, size 56
http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/2010-se-larger-with-wood-grain-paint-size-56cm-single-speed-road-bike/1022439257
And a massive 60cm yellow raleigh road bike from the very early 90s (love love love this one but got to let it go)
http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/1990s-raleigh-race-road-bike-in-yellow-size-60cm-large-ideal-cx-bike-fixie-or-single-speed/1022451279
Also, treated myself to a new pair of pedals (all 15quids worth) with to straps for my single speed. All I can say is that I went out in a pair of jeans, went ten miles further than usual and came back to 14 achievements on strava.

I liked the first one, but saw the price and nearly had a stroke

Which app's do you guys favour for keeping track of rides? I've got Strava and Endomondo on my phone. They both seem pretty similar really?

MotionX when I can be arsed. Gpx files can be loaded and it can direct you too. Also got strava but rarely use it.

swapped over from endomondo to strava recently, I find the timing of segments of your ride make you push harder!

Is this normal? On my forks I seem to have a little dial on the left hand side (as seen from sitting on the bike). But on the right there's just some zig zag thing.

The zig zag thing is an adjustable dampener. You can stiffen up your suspension with it.

Strava all the way, it makes even the non competative (me) become agressive when riding. I even do 'training rides' now as I like map and see the improvements on strava

Should there not be a little dial on each side then? The dial on the left won't come off. So I can adjust one side, but can't do the other.

They're both adjusted by the one control so you don't get uneven damping.
It's also easier to make changes while you ride with one dial.
