I was about to sign up to them as 100 miles is a breeze but unfortunately the events have been canceled

London to Brighton, looking into the South Downs link, Winchester to Eastbourne with a overnight stop in a little bnb some where!! That's 100 miles cross country

A real 304bhp 286lbft in a mk4 golf!

I miss mountains...Have to drive 6 hours to ride anywhere steep

That's one of the reasons I switched to road cycling, there is a road right outside my house; the nearest proper mountains are at least a 3 hour drive to Wales.

Thought about getting a road bike but then the thought of riding 50 km in a straight line then turning around to ride 50km back didnt seem appealing. Plus the road trains weighing 200T and 72 meters long over taking you at 110km/h is f**king scary!!!!

I entered a DH race last weekend followed by an enduro... I lack any skill in both departments.
