Definitely going to fit some better suspension to the front.  then I'll either go hydraulic or disc, depending on what mounting points the forks have.  Rear I can pop a disc on as it already has the points for it.  I want to change the front to a single gear, just easier.

Then see where I'm up to

Can anyone suggest some decent enough forks I could pick up second hand, under £100?  Mate of mine, used to work in a bike shop advised I shouldn't go above 10cm travel or I risk sheering the front of the frame!

Also, thoughts on these for the money?

How do you guys get your bikes to the routes you ride on, assuming you don't ride there? You using bike racks, or just chucking the bike into the back of the car?

I used to ride to a lot of my routes or jump sites but i moved last year so its a case of getting the bike rack out or chucking them in the back of the work van now.

During the week I ride locally so ride to the forest and at the weekend I either chuck it in the back of the car or on the rack
