Went for roughly a 5 mile ride at weekend! Couldn't go far is my chain hadnt arrived and had to bodge the old one to go round a bodged single speed haha!
So got my new chain today so should all go together properly now!
Can't wait, even though the gear was sh!te the single speed is much more fun!!
Missed riding so much !


Believe me its a dead ringer for you! Even says something stupid!

bought a second hand 29er yesterday. going to bin the horrificly cheap running gear and fork, make it rigin and single speed and see where we go from there.

Wont that just make it a road bike!  :evil:

means you can stay on your bike and ride instead of getting to hill, stopping, putting post up, getting to a trail, stopping, putting seat down etc.

i find the temptation is to leave the seatpost up on the fast singletrack and crashing because you can't control the bike as you want  :grin:
