lewis, where's the best place to get retro biked parts? i wouldn't mind restoring my 98 specialised back to original spec and sticking it on a cycleops

cheers, yeah they are wicked bikes. Went on a 5 mile ride on my mates and was sold! granted his was the Dune RR though but its just components, the frames are the same. I can't believe how well it climbs with 160mm travel!

found the right stem for a tenner on retrobikes already  :cool:

Had another 23 mile blast today. Went out with someone for the first time who is a seasoned xc rider. I tried keeping up but on the hills he was in a different league, he was training for hill climbs and basically meeting me at the top then we would continue. Needless to say I am f**ked and have a looooonnngg way to go! Nice and muddy though and found some new single track to tank through  :laugh:




The entire world is a Money Pit, you just have to pick yours.
