Now that HID's are in MOT got a question.
« on: 07 January 2012, 19:53 »
well as a few of you may know HID's are now part of the new 2012 MOT, and if you dont have washers and leveler's then your going to get a nice fail :(  my question is has anyone came across an alternative bulb to the crappy standard yellow ones that produce a nice crisp white light but are not HID's and are legal on uk roads?

cheers :)

if self levelling cannot be tested you must be given the benefit of the doubt. Washers have to be there though

i "think" that if you do the R32 wishbone mod then you might be able to retrofit self leveling headlamps if you fit the R32 headlamps too.

Oh no not again..............  :lipsrsealed:

You wont find anything as bright as HID's (a good thing   )  but upgrade halagon bulbs by the likes of osram and phillips are ideal.

nightbreakers only have 30% of the life compared to standard bulbs. they are an improvement over standards
