MK1 Fuel pump

hello
I have put a MK2 1800 digifant engine in my MK1 golf 1300 driver, does anyone know if the Mk1 fuel pump can supply the digifant engine at the right pressure.
i have a mk2 pump but mounting in under the car is a problem i can find enough space.

Yes a mk1 gti fuel pump will flow more than enough fuel for your digi engine, fuel pressure will be OK as the fuel rail has a pressure regulator in it that returns excess fuel back to the tank.

you don't happen to know were i can get my hands on a set of door rubbers for a mk1, VW have told me they dont make them anymore i have tried a few places up here in scotland but with no luck.

Some comparison pics between the CIS Pump and the silly little digi pump.
CIS is stronger, lasts longer and puts out a higher volume per min.





And thats the fuel pressure in bars you are running when you use a digifant Fuel Pressure Regulator.
