sorry to say if you have not got proof the buyer recieved it you will loose the case. It is the sellers resbonsibility (private or business) to ensure the buyer recieves the item. no tracking number no proof item has been sent can send as many letters and emails as you like. With out a tracking number paypal will close the case against you. proof of postage is not proof of rcpt. send everything through ebay recorded as been bitten by this before. The annoying thing is he more than likely recieved it.

I have receipt from post office with his "old" post code on and then scanned it into email to him to which he said thats my old address? That's not my fault. For all I know the house I sent it to may have received it and opened it by mistake realised what it was then kept it?

What more can a buyer do but send it to the adress I was given? It should have been recorded and I'm annoyed as I send everythig recorded then give buyer tracking number. Think the guy was in such a rush he must have misheard me :undecided:

It is the buyers responsibility to provide a postal address.

If he failed to update it from what was displayed when he won, then it is his own fault.

You sent it to the address he supplied. How were you to know otherwise.

No fault by you.

Guns. Stick to yours.

+1. I recently got scammed for selling a PS3 too. I eventually caught him out and he ended the dispute, however he left me with negative feedback and ruined my 100% rating. Cvnt!

Best of luck

If you contact eBay they should remove the neg feedback, I have received 2 neg's in the past, both times had it Removed by ebay.

Make sure you keep the email saying it was sent to wrong address (so his fault), as he could say oh it did turn up and lie to paypal .

i had this done to me a few years back with a ds i sold, lesson learned send everything recorded/sign for otherwise there is no proof they have received it and paypal/ebay will always side with them even though 99 times out of 100 they probably have received the item.
