Drivers side door as usual, you have to slam it a little harder to shut it (especially with the speakers and dynamat weighing it down!)
How do you go about fixing the problem?
or are new hinges required?

Open the door and shake it up and down. If you feel any play you will probably need a new hinge. They are not expensive but a bit of a Gareth Hunt to fit. The top and bottom hinges are the same and it is likely to be the bottom one that is gone.
Take the door off ( dead easy) and you have to drive the pin out that holds the hinge to the door. I tried this but couldn't move it so I took the door to a body shop and bunged the guy a few quid to do it for me. Just drive in the new pin and you are sorted.

Thanks, will have a play in a few weeks. Like u say, the bodyshops repair guys remove doors all day so they might be best to sort it if I cant so easily. My mate can probably do it for me when he's less busy.
