Standard Cassette/Radio/CD combo on Mk 4 2.0 GTI. Missing security fascia!!!

Hi, just bought a a 2000 X Reg 2.0 GTI 8v. It's not the quickest/fastest but does what i need it to do and that is get me to work and back. What it doesn't do is allow me to listen to my music as the security fascia plate is missing. Any idea where i might get one?  I thought about the main dealer? Would they be expensive?

if i was you i would just a new head unit.

Yeah, thought about it but don't want to mess about with new adapters and surround fascias. Having said that, i went to Peter Coopers in Portsmouth today to enquire and he said he has never seen nor heard of a Gamma stereo with a removable security fascia! Great help!

The panel probably will be expensive - have you tried ebay?

On it as we speak. No stereos with the detachable panel nor the panel alone. Might just opt for the standard gamma stereo without the panel and pop that in. Plenty of those on Fleabay!
