Really impressed with that! I reckon I'll break 42 within the next month.

What's the point in this thread GTI who can get best MPG load bollicks !! :grin:

ESP Edition 35 just drive Fooking thing   :rolleyes:

 :laugh: Especially an ED35 with a K04 turbo that's whole raison d'etre is being efficient at high revs, I struggle to get 32mpg on my 'normal' GTI and I don't exactly drive like an 18 year old high on testosterone...

Bluefin made around 2mpg difference.

I won't be doing it again though.

As mentioned earlier, what's the point of having a GTI if you can't enjoy it.
Mk7 GTI. DBP, DCC, Winter pack. Mine since new, July 2013.
GTI no. 4. Golf no. 5.  VW no. 7.

For some people, they bought their GTI because it's just a nice car to own and aren't all that fussed about ultimate performance. It is possible to enjoy owning and driving a nice car without having to drive quickly.

I've had my Mk2 for 3 years and don't think I've ben over 80mph in it.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
