2 years of not driving has seriously changed my views. I will be driving a mk3 for a start ;)
But the points Dom mentioned are perfectly viable as it does happen!I don't care how mr speed limit you are,if you miss a sign saying 50 on a 60 road(which happens) then your speeding, 3 points etc

I will just look for reviews on Amazon,it might be easier.

If all you want it for it to let you know your speeding get a sat nav, I use the one on my nokia n8 I have set that so if I'm on a road with a speed limit of 50 mph or less and I go more than 3 mph over or on a road more than 50 mph and go over by more than 6 mph it tells me to slow down and will repeat it's self until I listen.

good way to stop you speeding as it's annoying as f**k.

and it gives a more accurate speed than a car speedo, I do 70 by my sat nav and my car says 79 , I know the sat nav is right as when I'm behind a lorry it reads 56 my car reads 61 and lorries are limited to 56.

and it doesn't matter what you get, nothing will help if a copper follows you like that.

Current cars 1995 Golf gti colour concept 2.0 8v 156,000 miles. bmw 316 1.9 129,000. yeah, life's good!

To OP, i'm not trying to piss on your chips - just saying that perhaps you need to change your mentality if you want to keep your license.

Agree to this.  If you can't keep it on a track then you're going to hurt yourself, or someone else.

You say you're not a 17 year old, but you seem to have the mentality of one.

No one 'goes into autopilot' and does +150mph.  You were V-maxing your car for fun and thought you wouldn't get caught.

Want to do that?  There's a place for it - Germany.

Wise up and slow the f*ck down, you're not a hero.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

I have a wife to monitor my own faults, thanks.  Plus I'll cheerfully admit when I'm wrong.  Feel free to point it out if you spot it.

Thanks mate, will try to remember im not a hero.

This is your issue - you genuinely think you are a hero for being nicked being that much of a c*nt.

come on lowlifedubber and diamond hell, you can have a difference of opinion, you can hate each other, but don't turn this thread into a slagging match.
