Free Health Check from the stealers

emailed the stealers last night about getting a free health check done, got an email in this mornin asking when i would like it booked in :), takes bout 30-40 mins. think every1 should take advantage of this as im sure it would save ppl alot of money on diagnostics and the like ;)

I don't think it's really worth a donald duck to be honest.

They probably plug into the OBD and have a glance and kick a tyre. I had one on my car when they did the coils and they said it was fine even though there were a few issues that I know about.

Bollocks to that. They'll give you a list as long as your arm and a estimate of 2 grand :lipsrsealed:

worth a try if its for naff all i reckon, seen an old thread about it on here and thought i would enquire, all im looking fr is a faults list which i can then repair myself :)

exactly what happend to me even thought intotal the parts only came to about 300-400?,
They also said most of them were dangerous and should be done staight away, even though about 4months on i still have to do a couple of bits and it all seems ok (touch wood) lol :smiley:

still good to know though as you can get the bits done either yourself of when u feel u need to :afro:

money making ploy. You can do it yourself with vagcom anyway.

they go over it with a fine tooth comb, checked bushes, engine leaks, anything im preey sure. I think they did a good job of findings bits that were affecting my car was jsut the price of parts and labour that put me off  :grin:
