money making ploy. You can do it yourself with vagcom anyway.
the whole point of the excercise is to let the vw ppl let me know whats up so I can fix it when i see fit
, they can stick there quote for parts n stuff n stick them wr the sun dont shine fr all i care.
The problem is they find "faults" with things that dont really need doing ie :
"Your brake discs are worn X amount below manufacturer's specifications and have a lip in the edge",
which is probably true comparing it to a brand new disc but x amount below is normal for any part worn disc and depending on your mileage they will probably be fine for years.
cheers, all in all, good lazy way of diagnosing your car lol, id just be taking the report and then would be goin over any points that wr noted, maybe get some free stuff as afore mentioned lol
