It may be showing me how temperamental they can be so early on into our relationship, but I don't care, I'm smitten in lust still!

Changed the relays out for 2 others already. Don't have a spark as well as fuel though. My radio had no power, and my elec windows were on and off. That's why I'm assuming ignition Andy. Will have a good look over behind the fusebox tomorrow though. Fingers crossed it'll be back to making me smile by the end of wednesday. Either that or cry anyway! :lipsrsealed:

Yeah, Defo going through the wiring back there is worth it :afro:

When I had the problems with the fuel pump I changed the relay but no difference. To cut a long story short, it turned out to be the relay socket in the fusebox

Had to bypass the socket and wire it up independantly from the fusebox

Let's hope the switch sorts it :afro:

Fusebox mate. Well I'm hopin as av changed, coil, dizzy, ign amplIfier, ign switch. Traced all wires. I can bypass my fuel pump to work but still no spark. Got power to coil, and to dizzy. But not out cap. If things are powered straight to then they work. Its all pointing at the fusebox though. Pm me your number and ill text you as its easier than being on here on my phone though bud.

She lives again!

Picked up the ignition switch this morning, and came straight back to crack on with it. After removing seat, and column shroud, the wiring around the column was a little wet!? Dried it all off with a hair dryer, the set about changing the switch as I was now convinced this was the problem. Took f**king ages to get the old one out, fiddley as f**k! Got ther in the end though, and fitted the new one. Went to start, and still nothing.  dropped the fuse panel, and all seemed well. No damp, connections seemed sound, but batteries died on the multimeter so couldn't test voltages.  decided to disconnect the immobiliser, to rule that out anyway, but connections were all properly soldered and spliced in, and it was only 4 years old. Soldered and heatshrinked wires back together, and she spluttered to life, then died again. A bit of head scratching and I noticed I'd forgotten to put the fuel pump relay back in after swapping again after the new ignition went in. Put back in and she runs perfectly.  immobiliser module was behind the centre console, so I can only assume it got wet when I removed the heater matrix. All sorted now, and I can f**k off the 306 again!  thanks to Liam, DH, and Andy for suggestions, very much appreciated.

Got a load of service items ready to be sorted, was gonna do it before Xmas but all the trouble with it put me back a bit. Will get it on the ramps at the w.end and do everything then hopefully. Picked up the bonnet bra today too, so will try to give it a good going over with the rotary at the w.end and fit that as well. Then off to get some decent pics I reckon!
