It's from Camden council not Croydon so you can drop the Croydon jokes lol :D

Thanks for the advice. I suppose if they have taken a picture of my car, which they probably have, they ill be in trouble. I'll give them a bell and try and talk my out of it.

im going through a dispute now with a parking ticket mate and iv challenged it , they told me that if my challenge is declined they still give you 14 days after to pay the lower price fee so you got nothing to loose mate by appealing it! :smiley:

Ask for a picture. I nearly got out of one but another company bought it and went full on. I got it down to the original £30 from £150 though

same thing happened to me wrote them a letter saying it had the wrong REG number and they said it was void and let me off! just get in contact and tell them there wrong!

stand your ground mate as they will try and say you was still in the wrong but however as someone has already said its a legal document and is void if its not filled in correctly

If it's the council on a public highway, usually you don't have a leg to stand on, and can only appeal.

Private land it only a civil offence, usually breach of contract.  The "parking enforcement company" can only get money from you by winning its case in the County Court.  At this point a judge will tell them to "do one" as e.g the £175 fine for a few minutes overstay will be unreasonable.

As the Coucil parking ticket is a legal doucumet, if the details are incorrect then it is invalid.  However they may get around this by producing a photograph.  You could get the fine reduced or thrown out on appeal.

Depends on which judge is sitting, some of the deputy's are a sham whether they are doing hearings or box work  :lipsrsealed:
