I always thought was left to the mk1 & 2 wishbones as the 3s were stronger from the factory. Guess it can't harm to d it though... Well unless you overheat and distort them during welding.

The narrow-track non-GTI Golf3s have the same control arms as the Golf2.  You would get less benefit from welding wide-track GTI control arms.

Very happy with the set up on the front now - it has significantly more grip so you can get it into a position of lift-off oversteer on roundabouts.

This could potentially be more damaging to other road users than an incidator repeater unit.  :grin:
