I have no idea what the intellectually challenged Brad is going on about - I have occasionally danced past midnight in nightclubs, but those days are past, to be honest.  I suspect it's some sort of oblique insult, but it seems

a) not many people read his build thread - even those with Golf3s
b) not many people get his insult without resorting to Google

All good.

I've explained why your suspension could well be made of tripe, provided it has a TUV certificate.  Your car isn't fit for purpose on the public road if you've had to go through multiple iterations of sump to find one shallow enough that it's not constantly in danger of causing an oil slick.

I run this car on a low budget and don't entertain cosmetic BS, but service it regularly and generally look after it.  You probably don't like the baler-twine mounted gauges, which delights me more.  The incidator is STILL securely clipped in - it'll probably be there this time next year.

You're probably best stopping your hysterical squeaking about a non-issue, trying to make me look bad and get back to trying to make a living out of your mate swapping engines and you making a noise about it.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

I like reading about things on the internet like drag, friction and physics in general when the people talking about it generally know nothing.

I are amused. Carry on.

You should see where I leave my tea cups in the workshop.  It's kerayzee.

Tracking and camber now set.  -1.5 camber and the stitch-welded control arms with TT rear control arm bushes should give us a nice sharp turn in now.
