Help!
Have installed 9831R Alpine head unit, there is an orange wire that can link the unit to cars dimmer, which is best lead/location/colour wire to locate it to?
Top unit spanking array of goodeez!

I wouldn't bother myself, but you need to find one that becomes live with the dash illumination. I cant' remember off the top of my head what colour it is. I'll check on my car.

If you remove the stereo and look at the factory wiring you'll hopefully find a grey/blue wire, this is the positive feed for the lights on dimmer for the radio.
