Helping out broken down female . . ..

I did the same Chuff a while back - Metro broken down two young ish ladies sat in it people queing behind it.

I drove past as i had to be somewhere about 30min later on the way back it was still there!

I pushed it (on my own with other drivers watching!  ) into a layby out of the way as she had already called the AA. Took all of 5 minutes.  She was very grateful indeed  

It just something I will always do!

I have done the same in the past, stopped to see if I could help but no luck so gave her a lift to the local garage a mile or so down the road, it was dark and I did not like the idea of leaving her stranded.

But wouldn't do it now?

to be fair jay, i got home 45 minutes LATER. as i stayed with her and the kids till the AA turned up. ( she was only 3/10 at best, in the dark   )

B, it was parked 300 yards down the road, i walked up the road towards them on the verge

Did you know I've stopped loads of times to help, but I've scared the crap out of them and they just told me to "go away the break down people are on there way" At that point I exit as long as they have mobile phone and recovery job done!

I always stop and see if there is anything i can do to help. But then Shetland is a bit different to the mainland, a closer community and people usually stop to help if something has happened.
