Emts switch location

Can somebody please point me in the right directon of where the Engine managment temperature switch is located on my car please used the search function but cant seem to find what im looking for , Mk3 16v abf

engine management temperature switch?  Do you mean the fan switch?  Or the coolant temperature sensor perhaps?

Coolant temp sender is on the flange on the front of the head.

The one that controls the ecu not the guage got some dodgy idleing when cold just trying to eliminate the problem i work in a motor factors but the system we use doesnt tell me the location just a description of the part but it gives me an option of two described as below

2 Terminals M14 x 1.5 Thread White top replaces Black or White top

or

2 Terminals M10 x 1 Thread White top

If i cant find it before i do the job ill just get both to cover myself but if i can find it it will save me ordering the two

The temp sensors (at least on the 8v) are a 4 pin (which do both ecu and dash temp), sounds like these are fan switches?

They were on my old polo aswell but these are deffinatley emts switches  as they do list 4 different rad fan switches

Sound like oil pressure or temp maybe.

Coolant is green from memory
