Hello gentlemen.
Been a while since I last put a post on this board because my car has been running fine - up to now.

The car developed a wheel bearing noise last November so after a while I decided to change both wheel bearings which solved the problem. Job done. Fast forward to March and both front tyres' tread had been scrubbed off on the inside. It seems I altered the alignment when I removed the hub bearing carriers to take them to a local garage to fit the new bearings. (Eurocarparts parts) After having a close look I think I hadn't refitted the bottom balljoint brackets in the correct positions in the wishbones.
Next/current problem was the development of a noise similar to a wheel bearing screech/squeal. I checked the CV joints and one of the inner CV's seemed worn so I changed it. Noise went away but came back. To cut long one short I have changed all four CV joints but the noise remains. Starts at low speed say 10mph and stays the same whether going round bends left or right, in neutral, coasting, braking, all has no effect noise remains but is related to speed. Also checked the gearbox oil. 1 litre came out so I refilled with 2 litres. No difference. What is left to change? Could the wheel bearings be faulty?
