is it illigal to block out out rear windows on a car?

My golf has the Rear glass tinted from the factory & iv tinted over that glass using the darkest limo tint.

It is a bit dark at night but still can see out perfectly fine...

Yea my car is grey & your right it does look too dark i'll be removing them & going to a lighter shade.

Ivr also got a Premier Edition Black Civic Type R & dark tints look well nice on that ...

just got mine done today, 50% all round, on top of the factory tint it looks the nutz, not over done.

(i just couldn't leave the front windows they had to get a touch of tint  )

i asked a policeman as my rear 3 are blacked out. as long as your windscreen isn't, There is a limit for your front windows, they have a little gun thing that reads the % of light being let through.
