I couldnt find much on this online. I need use my hatchback for a while as a van i have los white thick car am i legally allowed to fit it in the rear and nack rear windows to block them out? is it illigal as it is a car and as van have  apurpose for being blocked out cars have a windows so must serve the purpose?

Just curious on people views on this or if can get pulled for it, cheers

You can block out all windows except the ones in the front ie doors and windscreen  :wink:

i thought i hurd somewhere if was designed for windows or for purpose they cant be blocked off  :undecided: i had an old hatchback and used white card in window lips to hide items. didnt wannabe pulled as it is a shed as it is ha

You can weld metal over the rear screen if you really want.

As above, its only the front windows that matter.

Vans etc dont have rear screens and get on just fine :)

This may sound a little silly but, I'm thinking about blacking out my windows. But I'm worried about parking the like. What's the visibility like from the inside to out? :S

Mine are 90% tinted and its fine. Plus the fact thats what mirrors are for! :grin:
