N75 Valve and tuning
« on: 09 November 2011, 16:25 »
I need to replace my N75, but which should I go for? There's the J version, the K version and a few others, which really would be good for after stage 1?

Depends on the Map, Carbon maps work better with the J version, other maps differ

If it was mapped for a standard valve, fit that. As Dom says if you want to go further with tuning it will be down to the mapper after that but you can't just throw anything in at the mo

Could always get a 'J' Valve and have overboost :|

Which can be seen clearly giving issue in the graph of a carbon map using the N75J below?

I spoke to R Tec and they said to use nothing other than what was meant for my car.

Which is what has already has already been said, my car is mapped for a J valve, unless your car is mapped specifically for J then stick with standard!
