Coil pack recall, car booked in.

Worth the email, got a call from VW today to let me know my car needs a recall for the coil packs.

Booked in next Wednesday gonna ask about window mech also as heard that was an issue to.

Can't hurt to try people's .

MK4 GTi 1.8T, Black magic, stage one Jabba, Forge Split, filter, sportex race pipe, lowered 25mm.

hope you mean front window wipers  (window mech).Plus say the starter motor make a bad noise,  rear bushes bang and agu coil packs fail.  :grin: There common faults .Say the AGU lads want something out of it.  :evil: Thanks ,james.  :kiss:
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

what was the email you emailed ? might see if mine are under the recall. and what did you say? just something along the lines of heres my reg is my car eligable for 4 free coilpacks under the recall?  :grin:

Ive been told the drop glass regulators fail and the glass drops to the bottom of the door.

Exactly that bud emailed service desk with reg and my phone number they called back within two hours.

After reading this i done the same they rang me back within 6 hours or so saying when would you like to book it in nice when you can get stuff for free :)

Mines an X reg AUM and I was surprised when I got a call back, mine is booked in for next friday at Wolverhampton VW :)
