I wish simulated fog could be part of the driving test. Maybe people would be a little more sensible. Terrible things like this need not happen  :cry:

my fiance was planning on coming to visit me in bath last night from north devon. so thankful i told her she wassnt allowed to with the weather. its only 10 mins from our exit at j27

Literally just after a slip road onto the motorway by the looks of it. Obviously someone trying to merge onto it in fog. Sad.

this is the first ive heard of this, how awful, at this same time yesderday i was on the way to go collect the car, the gf was taking me there, she had never driven in such bad weather like this before

not that it matters much but did this happen north or south bound?

It's quite close to here. Heard the ambulances. Coincidence it was right next to Taunton RFC fireworks night? Distraction could have been a factor here.

Glad I had a day off yesterday. We only had a light shower yesterday and am only just across the bridge.
