found an online guide to show how to change this . 

anyone know cheapest place to get one ?  Europarts show a bosch model for £10.08 (delivered) but 25% forum code doesnt work (looks like min spend is £20).  Also looks like there are 2 options a standard filter or an Activated Carbon filter (which supposedly reduces odours)

also im sure mine was changed as part of my last service (7 months ago) so surely it can't be done already ?

I had the same problem. Brought some silca bags which helped a little.
I read somewere that if the inside of your windscreen is dirty then this can give the moisture something to cling to. So I brought some top of the range car glass polish and gave the windscreen a good old polish. Even though it did'nt look dirty you'll be amazed at the crap it removes. It seems to have worked , as I hav'nt had the problem since....

Quick blast on the aircon and its all sorted...you moany buggers 

And yes the mk6 is worse...they both run this minimum 2% aircon permanently dont they...thats why the mk5 had issues with the compressor going t1ts up so often until they brought out a diff compressor...
