They do hold their shape better and dont sag into a crease kind of thing, so flow at their best forever!
Well life of a car!

The main advantage is that they don't expand under pressure.

Of course, to many, they look pretty.

As for flowing more - they don't. If the pipes are the same, there is no difference in flow between rubber and Silicone.

In fact, Silicone hoses are a nightmare to get clamped tight as the Silicone is inherently slippery, so they love to blow off under pressure unless you have rolled and to pipes and decent clamps, in many cases adding boost leaks.

On a TIP the only advantage is likely to be a slightly smoother inside and perhaps a slightly bigger diameter in places.

..but gaining motorcycles.

Most aftermarket silicone hoses are pretty good.

The problems you will have before you have any hose problems,is them popping off due to crappy jubilee clips, especially when you wind the boost up.

just make sure you fit some t-bolt clips

apparently I've heard from from a few people proper Jubilee clips (not the cheap copies) are better than t-bolt clamps

speaking from experience..Im afraid you have heard wrong.

regardless of make, You can only tighten a jubilee clip so far until it will just spin off the band and loose tension.

A t-bolt clip can be tightened until you start bending pipes  and will tighten evenly from both sides and wont slip nor loose tension.

they look pritty and you can claim your running loads of boost as you keep blowing hoses off

there often a right pita,  best ays to solve ive found are ether to run a bead of weld around the fitting then clamp behind the weld or use adhesive but then getting the hose off is a twit
all the VW's have gone bar 1.
