well, i finally got the time to phone VW to order the PCV part, he didnt have a clue what i was goin on about lol. i had to come on here and get the full PCV meaning and tell him what the part was used for. we got there in the end, it costs £33 plus vat. out of interest i asked how much to supply and fit the part, he said it would be £135 as its 90 mins labour. i said thanks but no thanks, i will have a go at it myself at that price

Make sure, if your gonna do this yourself, make sure the engine is warm, or at least the top engine cover is warm, so when you pull it off its 4 rubber mounts, that is wont snap if you pull too hard..

Once the top cover is off, all will be crystal clear
