Heathrow lost and found
« on: 18 October 2011, 08:45 »
Has anyone had any dealings with them? through sheer tiredness and being overworked I left my iPad in the seat pocket of a plane on saturday evening,I've phoned lost and found about 20 times since then and every time I get to speak to what I can only describe as the most useless uninterested person I've ever spoken to! I've also phoned the BA executive club bit they cannot do anything.
after some investigation it would seem that items in lost and found are not even logged as to where they where found or what flight they where found on,there are a few iPads but the guy is saying none of them are mine! how does he know! unfortunately it was almost flat when I was using it on the plane so will defiantly of switched itself off by now so I can't even track it,thank god I passcoded it!
I'm so angry and baffled by lost and founds lack of interest to help me find my iPad!
Rant over!

I suppose they all look the same when turned off, amusing that they have several lost ipads! Working at lost and found might be pretty good if you get unclaimed freebies!

Can you go down to the air port with a charger and get them to power them up to prove which is yours?  :undecided:

I did it with aload of smellies and fags a few years back. They had them, but apparently 2 bottles of perfume had mysteriously dissapeared!  :undecided:  Would have cost me more in import tax and admin fees than they were worth, even though it was all within the legal limit to bring them in. . Anyway, didnt bother in the end. This is a bit different obviously, but your right, they are all a bunch of uniterested, thieving, useless twits!
