how can that be £100+ when it has "some play in the shaft" and it's not an 03s

It's bizarre what some people are willing to pay for something they haven't seen. They need to do some research really

After so much sh!t with k03s turbo's in the past, if I ever did get one I'd definitely get it refurbished instead, or buy new.

What happened to the one from me
haha...  :lipsrsealed:
i was lucky with mine, i bought it advertised as spares (it was advertised as a k03  and they had a lot of 3.) i asked them if any had 8 fins, they said one doi said thats the one i want.. there is minimal play in the shaft and it has lasted my stage 2 so far..

I'm just looking for the best 'bang per buck' so to speak and a used K03S, then getting it refurbed doesnt seem a good use of the best part of £500

As I have said before I have a K03 atm with some minor mods done, I know I'll get around an additional 20-30 bhp from a K03S but that doesnt seem alot for the money
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Far better to drive though!  Extra ponies make a big difference to the drivability of the motor

It isn't tbh, the further you go, the more you will spend for less power increase aswell.

That's why i am in the process of going from mapped ko3 straight ko4, spending a small fortune along the way

(even though I have a ko3s on at the min, was going to map and be happy at stage 2, but got greedy and verging on poverty to fund car )

Only suitable step up from a k03s for me is a GT2871r or a GT30!
