Steering wheel off centre

So to go in a straight lane I have to turn the wheel a few cm to the right. Basically it's off centre what could be causing this? Its really pissin me off now so help will be appreciated!

You could remove the steering wheel and move it around by a spline or get the tracking reset and they should center the steering wheel.

I'll get it tracked then I was thinking that might be the problem but wasn't sure

I suspect in the past someone has had it tracked without the steering wheel being locked in the straight ahead postion.

yes mate re-aline the wheel' get a flat head screwdriver about 6inch long turn the wheel 180 degrees to left, there'll be a small hole in the back insert the screwdriver pointing up' as far in as it will go then prise down & it will pop off! then turn it 180 right & do the same.. can be a bit tricky  but i got a small mirror got the reflection of the small hole & could see the metal clip that i was prising off made it alot easier. then just a case of removing the spline bolt & sitting the wheel back on in the right position.. but be careful of the air bag!! theres no need to remove the wires, i just sat it on the wheel being very careful  disconnect the batt if it makes u feel btr. hope this helps!

seriously? thought you would have had to remove the airbag and steering column nut, have you any pics?

i did'nt remove the airbag no need.. if ur not clumbsy enough to drop it & tug the wire out its fine but disconnect the battery to be on the safe side..

Yes but you still need to remove the nut holding the steering wheel on and then move it.
