Neil

They look very nice, very nice indeed - grpahite works well with the red

I've just put mine on today - it was 4C when out in the car this morning and we had a hail storm - omens of things to come this week so I swapped them over

I took the opportunity to fit the front mudflaps too - just need to clean and store the Vancouvers and perhaps take a pic or two

What kind of figure are you looking at to have them powder coated?

They were done by a company in Aberdeen called PPS. They did them for £40 each as we use them for stuff at work - so I got a few quid off. I think they were meant to be £45 per wheel.

Thanks. That's actually not a bad price for the work involved. They are looking great.

Neil... they look awesome.

I picked my wife up from her night out last night, and it was -1°C at about 12am.
Today I've seen a load of photos from friends up in Aviemore / Huntly / Elgin where they have a load of snow thats fallen last night / today.

Looks like I might get my new snowboard out before the end of the year afterall!!

After putting the winter wheels/tyres combo on today, We went over to some friends and the TPMS warning light came on (this is the aftermarket fit from SteveP)

I checked all the pressures - all OK but when I tried to reset it - pressing the button in the centre console, the light has still remained on.

Any ideas guys?

You be to hold it for about 10 seconds to reset it I think?

Tried this today (and for a lot longer too) but no joy

Wonder if the wiring isn't right in the switch - will take a look later this week when I have half an hour.

Engine off, but ignition on IIRC
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Strange as I've always reset mine with the engine running by just holding the button for a couple of seconds.

@Buck, I remember reading that you didn't actually need the switch installed as the TPMS could be activated by vag.com but the drawback was it had to be reset by vag.com as well.

Sounds like although you have the switch installed, its obviously not connected properly. If all else fails at least it can be reset by software.
