Lets hope it doesn't snow in Germany next week or your wheels may end up stuck in a warehouse for 3 months!!
No, I forgot for a second there, it's only the 'Lets not invest any money into the infrasructure that won't be rekindled before the end of this tax quarter' United Kingdom that grinds to a halt after half a mm of snow.

Sorry Jules, I sounded a bit like an over 30 there ...  :lipsrsealed:

And right on cue ...

Well, if you're just going to run winters on them you may as well get rid of the ringworm prone polished finish and have them painted anthracite.
If you're going to use the wheels in summer you really need to keep the wheels with the polished face as it looks amazing in sunlight. It also looks amazing under certain streetlighting too.

So a set of polished for summer and a set of grey for getting covered in salt would be the ideal situation in my not particularly humble opinion.

The spare set will be used just for winter and the odd track day,  I would never give up on my shadow monzas as I still believe one of the finest looking wheels out there so these will be kept pristine for fair weather use,  think I may just go with your tip and get the spare set done in anthracite,  these would be both practical in winter and mean and moody for track days,  still seems a crime though as 2 of the wheels are mint,  needs must I guess

Or alternatively I could just get 2 refurbed to match the mint oem ones and just not worry about white worm safe in the knowledge I got them cheap in the first place,  at least would make 2 of us happy :)

Despite all the practicalities of dark wheels each time I fit them I always crave something shiny again so thankyou for reminding me of that !!

If I had known you had mint Monzas Shadows, I would have exchanged one of my very slightly damaged one for a mint one and given you £120 in addition. Too late now as I've had it fixed. Damn.

Keep 'em shiny and keep 'em lovely. Brightens up a miserable winter.
