K03 or the k03s???? Searching......

053 - non silenced (AUM engined 1.8T?)

058 - non silenced (new Beetle?)

My engine is a AUM but apparently it's a 052??

I have the 052 which is silenced and was from a Leon Cupra with the AUQ engine so I hope so. As far as I'm aware the AUM only came with the non silenced K03s but I may be wrong. It's easy to spot as it has a big metal part added to to outlet pipe

Ok so I've been doing a bit of research over the internet and can across that apparently the AJM engines were factory fitted with a K03s however if they had been replaced in a garage they would have been fitted with a K03 for some reason!!!

I know that the previous owner the the owner before him had a turbo fitted so it's possible that it could have been fitted with a K03.....

If I was to buy myself the K03s would there be any different parts that I should by aswell?

Also is there any difference between the silenced and the unsilenced or would they both fit???
