I started clearing the Mk6 today...gave it a good clean, so I'll get it back to standard and advertise it next time home.
The Mk3 will depend on how easy it is going to be to insure it afterwards...if it's silly, I'll break it.
You'll definately get the best return for your GTI if you sell it standard and then push the bits on.
I just think it is all such a shame, but I guess there's no turning back thanks to the ban. It is/was definately one of the most sorted GTIs on here.
As for the mk3, who knows? Breaking it would yield the best financial return again but it would be nice for it to go to an enthusiast as it's pretty unique.
Why not chuck it in the classifieds on here as is and see if someone could collect it when you get back on-shore?
