vwspares sell 2 models, one for 92-95 non GTI and VR6 and another is 92-98 GTI & VR6. Would have thought the second one is the heavier duty one. But what VW BUSH said is something I've heard before, all suppliers now make one standard one which is heavy duty.

well they only list 1 mount to fit all models now (and they sound like the uprated version hence the off road suspension bit)
