Mk6 Golf GTI Wind noise

I would suggest trying another dealer and speaking to VW UK.... that usually gets them to pull their finger out 

That or buy one of the new Fords which might have less wind noise.

personally I would go back to the mk5... the original and much better made

My mk5 was nothing special and i was told i could not be unlucky twice yea right

Get another R32 then Gilly some lovely ones knocking around now, people cant afford to run them I suppose

I love the R32, the looks, the sound - shame it's got the Mk5 interior

Yes Ive drove quite a few on test and loved them,but I just refused to pay road tax £400 , yes I'm a tight git also 17mpg around london

hmm... there is a though!! The mazda is in the same tax bracket as the R32, costs me just as much to run on petrol as the R32.. yet I still seem to like the mazda for now. 

I will be going back to an R32 soon.... but currently jobless means it would be silly to buy one right at this moment in time. sooooon though

Ive read about a TPS on an American forum for this issue so your dealer if there any good should be able to find it on there TPI list.

Does anyone know if this "defect" is on VW's TPI list? I've my car booked in to have my wind-noise door looked at tomorrow, but when I made the booking he looked up the system and couldn't find any information this type of issue! I must be the first ever to complain about it!
