Orders for the Golf GTI Edition 35 – launched to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the original hot hatch – will be open tomorrow, Friday 2 September.
With an increase in power of 25 PS over the standard version, this special edition develops 235 PS and is the most powerful Golf GTI model to date. Other features include a revised front bumper, lightweight 18-inch alloy wheels and the return of the 'golf ball' gear knob.

Retailer quota and production volumes

– Retailer quota for the Golf GTI Edition 35 will be part of the standard quota of GTI and GTD volumes
– There will be limited production volumes for the UK, with around 200 units expected in 2011 and around 600 for 2012

Have you got the 'picture below' of the Vienna Leather?

every press release I have seen says the UK model has 35 logo's on the lather seats, but if you spec one in Germany with full leather you just get the normal vienna with GTi logos on the head rests?

First post btw, been lurking here for a while since getting my GTI in Feb, so Hello  :smiley:
Nice first post and welcome mister long time lurker. Shame you don't input more as we need sensible people round here to keep the fires alight - I find it hard work and have to rely on my village idiot status most of the time.

That 35 looks good value when you look at the kit it arrives with, what's the eta on these if you order one?

It is good value comapared to the horrendous value of a normal GTI/D, just like the ED35 before it, it offers a lot more car than a regular GTI and it's just a shame it doesn't come with the 345mm brakes it needs.
