Spot on Doc! I was trying to be diplomatic. A5 is different in terms that there's no eagerness from the car in comparison to the Gti. I've driven the 2.0 litre petrol and it really is a cruiser!

@ rich100  Loads of room for passengers though and very comfortable inside, but don't be fooled by the boot space. Lots of it I've found to be wasted as the roofline is quite low. A very long and shallow boot. V nice car though.
Current: Clubsport45, white, DCC.

Past: Mk5 gti blue graphite, mk6 gti carbon grey, mk6 gti edition 35 candy white, Mk7 pp gti tornado red, 2016 Audi S3 sportback, 2019 7.5 Golf R.

Loved my Mk5 but the Mk6 is definitely a step up for the reasons a posted above.

I looked at a new S3 at the weekend but I couldn't justify the extra money for one of those. Nope I'm very happy with the car I've got.......... for now anyway

Whats that? The MK6 is just a MK5 with a nose job? The same car just much more money you say? What do you mean the MK6 R uses the MK5 FSI engine because its stronger and better? :D :D

It's hardely just a nose job, it's more a boob job, face lift, tumy tuck, collagen implant, chemical skin peel and tooth job.

Effectively the the same underneath but crap loads better.
