Removing Standard ecu. Use all existing sensors and wiring up a standalone engine management system like Emerald, DTA, Motec, OMex, Megasquirt. And configuiring and mapping on road and dyno to get best improvements. Removing ABF ECU will also remove immobiliser.

As I suspected, seriously complex and expensive stuff way beyond my automotive capabilities.    :undecided:
