If your not edition you won't have seen these pictures, so I've smashed them all together in one post. They may not make sense but enjoy, it's basically a lot of wheel changes, tinkering, umming and ahhhhring, selling not selling, breaking not breaking, etc etc...

so to keep the thread alive heres some updates...

i finally got the car turning off, and it was... a missplaced relay in the fuse box... DOH!!!

so after i sorted that i set my sights on sorting some of the smaller jobs out, firstly i replaced the plugs, leads, and coil for new items...

as you can see the old items were pretty old, after the swap it runs much smoother. i also replaced the oil filter and the oil has been changed.

then i decided to top up the power steering resivour and see if my flared pipes held up, and hey presto, they didnt, well the high pressure side from the outlet of the pump spat its dummy and all the power steering fluid everywhere, so off to pirtek i went and got my hoses made up, havent tried em yet but im sure they will be fine :)

this came as well, i want to make sure the car flys through its first MOT so to that end, i got in touch with lloyd from blueflame exhausts who fab'd my exhaust in the first place and got him to send me out a 200 cell sports cat, so it shouldnt have any trouble passing, also got a lambda in now so it should be fuleing alot better now too, still looking to get a map once its back on the road, but for now it should be alot better, also because ive ditched my heat sheilds ive decided to heat wrap the bits of the the system that run close to the tank and fuel pipes etc, which should see them not getting too hot...

and then finally, i got my self some wheels....

i have spent weeks and weeks, endlessly looking at wheels, and then these came up, and i couldnt say no,

so off to the coaters they went, and the tyres were ordered, 195/40 in the rear and 185/35 up front, wheels are 17x7.5 all round, et 35. they came back all fresh in chrome powder coat and i mounted the tyres, gave the caps a lick of paint as i hate the blue, and then they had a very quick test fit just to make sure everything was going to work, i think im gonna have the rear in slightly, as i want more tuck than poke, and i need to space the front slightly, (the coilovers arnt tightened up on the strut yet) but im pretty happy...

im unsure yet on the rear tyres as they look chunky next to the 185's, however, i may not like how it feels on the 185's, the last set were stretched over an 8j tho so there not mega stretched.... it will all come down to the drive...

but there you go, lots of stuff, not many pics, more to come as soon as i get a little more time.

I fitted up the GL splitter, still needs some fettleing but will fit great once done, and I got the engine plastics finally sprayed up, the crackle finish was nice but didn't go with the rest of the car.

got loads done tonight, no talk, just pics :)

the best 2 :)

cheers.

Right so today I was on with a big job, get the cars out side and clean the unit, after 9months of graft it had become pretty messy. So I had the task of refitting my old mans rear brakes and bleeding them and refitting the wheels. That done I got the cars out side, bare in mind this is the first time my car has moved more than 9 inches in as many months, she fired up and felt great driving out. I have deffo fallen back in love with her. Anyway here's some pics,

And after 3 hours, all clean as sorted out,

Thanks guys, well seems as the car Is coming towards the end it's build stage, (yes there will be another stage) I thought I'd set on with smartening up the paint a little, this was however quite depressing as the has been subject to many little scratches and little dings and chips over the 9 months it's been couped up in the garage, but I set to work anyhow and got some good results as its looking all nice and shiney again, it will deffor be going in for paint at some point though as its just not upto the same standard as the rest of the car. I'm hoping I might even be able to get it wrapped at my new work for free as a kind of demo car for them ;) we'll see though... Anyway enough gabbing, here's some pics... New page n all that

Eh hem....

;)

Played with some chrome vinyl tonight...

Needs something shiny ;)

Don't want to loose this thread, nothing to see here till next weekend, but I've buying and selling things all over the place at the min, and I'm gathering a huge stock pile of bits ready for my week off work in November, I have a new screen, full air ride kit with v2 Managment, my comp 1780's and tyres to fit, plus some other special "cough yachting cough" parts to fit ;) also got the new colour ordered for the car so as soon as its on the road the full wrap can begin, then once that's done I can drive it... Yay!!!! Or. May break it.... Who knows lol stay tuned
